Hi Chris!

I bought the Tuscany Wine Country kitchen from you a year ago November, and FINALLY, it is almost installed into my much smaller home, but WOW, is it a stunner!!! We used some of the marble for a backsplash, the cabinets were put together like a puzzle, and it really looks like it belongs in my 1925 Spanish home. One colorful touch is the Viking stove in red, (not included in the Green Demolitions package, although it adds an awesome finality to the whole thing) but we are all so excited that my contractor suggested I enter the kitchen in 'This Old House's' contest for room redos. Another week and we will be finished with the small touches, but I will send you photos. I have several friends watching your site for their own kitchens, but thank you again...for the price of an average redo from Home Depot, I have a million dollar kitchen!!!

Warm regards,

Lacy Loar

Hi Steve,

My husband and I were recommended to Green Demolitions by our architect, Vlad, from LAN Associates. We took a drive to the Fairfield location and thus our story begins! We purchased a beautiful hand painted table and chairs (we were looking for a kitchen) with the help of your wonderful employee, Christine Gilhooly. We didn't find a kitchen but Christine directed us to the Norwalk location. We found found a perfect kitchen for our new home with Janice's expert help! However, we weren't finished just yet! I went online and saw a mud room and an island that would be arriving soon. We called Christine and she was going to get the info to asap. We missed Chris's call but when we called back, Tricia was in and had the info that Christine left for us! We drove that day and purchased the mud room , the Brasillian cherry island , and found a small kitchen/craft room that will fit our laundry room to a tee! Peter also took a drive to the Honesdale locations and hit the jackpot! He found all the faucets for the bathrooms!

I met you out side the Fairfield location last week while I was tending to my pup, Bella. You told me to bring her on in and I did. Even she had a great time sniffing around!

I'd like to thank you and your wonderful staff for all the help and kindness shown to our family! I will continue to look online and find all the great products that you have recycled!

Thanks again,

EQ, PQ, and BQ

From Holly Brookstein

Dear Steve-
I recently donated my kitchen to Green Demolitions. I was so impressed with the process and your staff every step of the way. Paul (who first came to my house to see the kitchen) and Barbara in the office, are two of the names I remember. But everyone at your organization was professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with.

I donated my kitchen because I didn't want it to end up in a landfill. But I didn't expect the process to be so easy and user-friendly. I am telling everyone I know about your terrific service. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Holly Brookstein

Barbara,
Well, your crew arrived at the scheduled time and immediately went to work. They were pleasant, diligent and especially, very careful dismantling the kitchen and removing it. I am very impressed!

I also donated a kitchen lighting fixture that I purchased many years ago in an antique shop in PA. Loved it, but don’t need it anymore.

Please thank everyone involved for making my experience with Green Demolitions so very pleasant!

Sincerely,
Patricia Wendell

From Mary Richardson Kennedy

. . . heartfelt thanks for getting our green house project off to such an exciting and inspiring start. . . . I have referred so many friends to you and hope you’re not going to be overwhelmed by all the new salvage. Bobby and I are so grateful to you for taking all the things we didn’t have the heart to throw away . . . so much ends up in landfills that doesn’t belong there. Thanks too for coming to the Shad Fest. We hope you’ll make it an annual pilgrimage. . . .

Much love & many thanks,

Mary & Bobby

Hi I am a Greendemo devotee and am currently building a home in Greenville, NY, just north of Port Jervis.

So far the Greendemo items in my house include:
  • My master bath toilet [Kohler] and 8'8" vanity w/ Kohler sinks, marble counter and beautiful faucets- so gorgeous!
  • My sons bathroom 5' vanity with marble top
  • My laundry room and mudroom cabinets- who has WoodMode in those rooms on a budget? I do!
  • Granite counter in my Mudroom, laundry room 'slop' sink
  • light fixtures inside and out
  • my entire 1/2 bath- toilet [Kohler] and pedestal sink with Jado faucet
When we 'git 'er done' there will be pictures galore to share. Thank you Greendemo for making it possible for me to have my dreamhouse even on my budget.

Barbara,

I just wanted to let you know your crew did a terrific job. They were fast, clean and courteous - not that I expected any less, but I just wanted to pass it on to you. It feels good to recycle our old items for others to use and help out a good cause as well - and I even saved money by not having to pay someone to remove them!! I will definitely recommend you to everyone I know.

Best Regards,

Just wanted to send you a note about how pleased I was with the demolition of my kitchen. The crew was punctual, neat and worked quickly. I wish the installation of my new kitchen could be as smooth and painless. I will call you when you can pick up the other items I am donating.

Thanks again for a job well done!

From J.O., Darien, CT

"Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that dealing with every aspect of your company has been a pleasure. Whenever we visit your location in Norwalk the staff are very friendly and helpful, the delivery people made great efforts to ensure that the cabinets we purchased were delivered with care for both the products and our home, and recently when we donated our cabinets, your un-installers were professional, courteous, clean, and made the whole process painless. What initially interested us was the possibility of saving money while at the same time making a contribution and recycling but what will keep us coming back and recommending you to others is your people."

Thanks much,
John

Mandy,

I wanted to thank you and your staff for the incredible service you have provided. I cannot begin to express my appreciation. I have recommended you to anyone who will listen. I think you have a great program and wish you continued success.

I especially wanted to compliment Deb Barbieri. She is a remarkable sales person. She has gone out of her way to understand my needs and taste, and nailed it. She has alerted me to items of interest, hunted them down to assess their quality and suitability and notified me promptly. She is attentive, understanding and enthusiastic- all the qualities of a great sales person. Please make sure she is appropriately acknowledged.

Thank you again.

I just wanted to let you know how incredibly impressed we were with your organization.

The service was incredible, the response time was "off the charts" and the "can do" attitude prevailed throughout the entire process. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I contacted your organization and I was continually pleasantly surprised throughout the entire process from the first contact I made to have our kitchen removed to purchasing a wine refrigerator at the warehouse! And..if that weren't enough our kitchen gets reused, the proceeds go to an incredible cause and we get a tax deduction. I don't know how it gets any better than that.

You only had 2-3 days notice to get our kitchen out before our contractor very pleasantly reminded me that if it wasn't removed within that timeframe they would take a sledgehammer to it to keep the project on schedule.

Everybody's attitude at Green was...no problem....we'll be there. It stunned me because it's really rare that you see that kind of service anywhere! The kitchen was removed with little fanfare and no damage to it or our house and we were thrilled to see it entirely reassembled in your warehouse by that weekend! It looked so good I had a few folks ask us why we had it removed! Felt a bit guilty on answering that one! We felt like "stars" in the warehouse when your folks found out that we had donated that kitchen.

I don't know where you find such fantastic folks but where ever it is...keep that pipeline open!

We'll also be taking out a bank of windows that we'll be contacting you about shortly. Pella windows that are in great condition but we want to add another window and they don't make the model we have any longer...hence....all new windows. That's how they stay in business...just keep updating the models!

Anyway...it was a real pleasure and I wish you continued success in what you do.

Expect to read about you in Forbes or Fortune anytime soon!

Best,
Colette Chestnut

Dear Steve,

I just want to write to let you know how incredible my experience was last week. I read about Green Demolitions in my TOH magazine, right when we started planning a kitchen renovation. I'm a huge fan of everything TOH, so I researched your organization and within 1 day, made the trip to all three of your stores. I got just about everything I needed. Aside from the awesome deals, I had the most enjoyable customer service experience. Everyone I met, either in person or over the phone, was extremely helpful, patient and courteous. Lauren helped me in Honesdale, Mary in Bethel and Deb and Doug and the guys who loaded my SUV in Norwalk . Their enthusiasm and commitment is obvious. By the way, the guys who loaded the car for me did an excellent job and the unexpected treasure of an antique fireplace mantel made it home intact. In fact, it will fit beautifully w/ little to no alteration necessary. Of course, when I got home I was on an adrenaline rush and promptly told all of my friends about how wonderful GreenDemolitions is. We will be back for future projects (bathrooms, laundry room, etc) and look forward to finding more treasures.

Many, many thanks to you and your crew - Brooke White, Landenberg , PA
