Mission
Recovery Unlimited is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is two-fold: 1) supporting the outreach programs of All Addicts Anonymous (AAA), a Twelve-Step program adapted for all addicts and all addictions, and 2) operating Green Demolitions, an “entrepreneurial charitable enterprise” which generates the income to fund both the AAA outreach programs and the Green Demolitions donation program and retail stores.

All Addicts Anonymous outreach programs

• Meeting and retreat center. Established in 1964, the meeting and retreat center, located at a 77-acre facility, provides a series of All Addicts Anonymous meetings, one-on-one sponsorship, and special events. • 24 Communications. 24 Communications is the publishing arm of All Addicts Anonymous. Its mission is to improve the understanding and application of the principles and practice of the AAA program and its way of life. 24 Communications distributes books, handbooks, CDs, DVDs, and a monthly newsletter.

• Basket Landing. Basket Landing performs a mix of traditional American and International folk music. The musical selection is drawn from the repertoire of a group of families getting together every Saturday night for the past 45 years and has been a factor in the recovery of thousands of addicts over the years. Green Demolitions

• Donation Programs. Green Demolitions donation program recycles luxury kitchens, appliances, bathrooms, home décor, and more from homeowners, retailers, wholesalers, and manufacturers. This “win-win” donation offers: 1) financial rewards including tax savings, reduced labor and/or disposal, 2) protection for the environment through reduction of landfill waste, and 3) self-sustaining funds for the All Addicts Anonymous outreach program and Green Demolitions program.

• Retail Stores. Green Demolitions retail stores accomplish the mission through: 1) selling recycled luxury kitchens, appliances, bathrooms, home décor, and more for 50% – 75% off market price, 2) offering All Addicts Anonymous literature in a special section of the store, and 3) creating a positive work environment where non-addicts and recovered addicts and their families comprise the “Green Team.” In this retail atmosphere, many customers who have been affected by addiction find they can connect with the AAA outreach program.
